Fish-Style
Fishing just isn’t sustainable.
According to the Food and Agriculture Organisation, by the year 2030 an extra 37 million tonnes of fish each year will be needed to maintain current levels of fish consumption and to cope with an increased world population of 2 billion more people. That’s an awful lot of fish. And of course it’s not just fish that suffer when stocks are depleted. Other wildlife is affected too, such as whales, dolphins, seals and birds.
Thankfully, there is an alternative.
Redwood’s tasty Making Waves range has all the taste of the ocean but none of the fish. From award-winning fishless fingers to fish style steaks, faux ‘fish’ cakes and fish free ‘tuna’, these deliciously different lines are ethical, sustainable and cruelty free.
